Community Service

HCA initially was founded in 2014 when a group of volunteers worked on the Cypress murder case that shocked the Houston Chinese community. Since then, HCA has expanded its community service to include providing disaster relief services, assisting with community safety, working with other non-profits to provide volunteer services, and establishing and distributing funds for community needs.

Houston Food Bank

Since 2018, HCA has begun to organize Chinese adults and kids to participate in volunteer activities regularly. HCA has registered as a community volunteer organization with Houston food bank and created a dedicated HCA volunteer group. The Natural Disaster Relief Fund of Houston Chinese Alliance

HCA established the Natural Disaster Fund (NDF) to assist community members who suffer from various natural disasters such as hurricanes and wildfires.
